Norton Island Visions

I created these images during an artists' residency in the magical landscape of Maine's Norton Island. I wandered the enchanted island daily, photographing the dramatic scenes I discovered in the forest and rocky shoreline. Eventually I placed cut photocopies of "characters" in these scenes, and then photographed them. Some seem like Western European art graffiti in the landscape. Others seem like they truly live there. These are my souvenirs of that dreamy and unique world. Limited edition prints on archival paper, signed and numbered (edition of 10).
